Staff Selection Commission (SSC) (कर्मचारी चयन आयोग) is an organization under Government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. It generally has two different categories.

  1. Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination.
  2. Combined Graduate Level Examination.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE every year for selection of teachers in government and private sector also. Every ETE student have to clear CTET Exam for selection in various department in Union Territories like Chandigarh, Daman & Deev etc. Delhi Govt. has also applied CTET for conduction new recruitment of Primary and upper primary teachers in Government, MCD, KVS and NVS Schools. It is necessary to clear CTET to be eligible for filling up various teaching vacancy forms.

  1. Paper I (for classes I to V) Primary Stage.
  2. Paper II (for classes VI to VIII) Elementary Stage.

Selection Procedure are for IBPS PO are classified in 3 phases, Phase 1 preliminary Objective Test, Phase 2 mains Objective Test and Phase 3 interview. Preliminary exam conducts in October and mains exam conducts in October month or next month in November and interview conducts in January.

  1. Common Written Examinations (CWEs) for PO conducted by IBPS.
  2. Written Examinations for PO conducted by SBI.

Since all the public sector banks now use IBPS Recruitment for Clerk selections, applying for IBPS Clerk Exam is deemed as the foremost step to get a clerical job in the banking industry in 2015.

  1. Common Written Examinations (CWEs) for Clerk conducted by the SBI.
  2. Written Examinations for Clerk conducted by the SBI.

The Civil Services Examination (CSE) is a nationwide competitive examination in India conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to various Civil Services of the Government of India, including Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS) among others.[1] The examination is the toughest examination in India with success rate of 0.1%-0.3% with more than 900,000 applicants and also has the least success ratio in the entire world.

  1. Phase I: CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) in August.
  2. Phase II: Mains (Civil Services Mains) in December.
  3. Phase III: Personality test (interview) in Feb/Mar of the following year.
